Mereside Farm was originally part of the Duke of Westminster’s estate, and whilst the farmhouse dates back to the 1770s, The Granary - originally a grain store - was built in 1904, before being lovingly converted into guest accommodation in 2011 and completely refurbished in 2019.
The Granary is a cosy first-floor, studio-style conversion, sleeping up to two people, and comes with exposed beams and an open-plan living area, with comfy tub chairs, TV / DVD, space to work, and a well-stocked mini-kitchen with single hob, fridge, microwave and toasted sandwich maker.
There's a double bed with quality bedding and sprung mattress, hairdryer and an en-suite with shower over bath, large fluffy towels on heated rail and complimentary toiletries.
Self-contained, but sharing an entrance hall with The Hayloft, and in a separate building to The Old Dairy and The Shippon, The Granary is ideal for short breaks or for using as a second bedroom when booking The Hayloft.
There’s underfloor heating throughout and free, unlimited superfast wi-fi too. In addition, we supply a complimentary selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate and biscuits, whilst there will be fresh milk in the fridge as well.
